Do you love Providence College? Do you enjoy telling people stories about your time at PC? Do you remember when you toured campus or visited for the first time? Would you like to be paid for showing visitors around campus? If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of those questions, then you might be a good fit for work in the Admission Office for the summer. Research has shown that the campus visit is the single most important factor for students in determining where they are going to apply to college. Knowing this, we’re looking for current students who are enthusiastic about Providence College and want to share that enthusiasm with prospective students and their families.
Primary responsibilities include conducting campus tours and discussing their Providence College experience at Group Information Sessions to visitors over the summer months. Other responsibilities include office duties such as answering the telephone, greeting visitors, handling the mail, and assisting the Admission staff with projects as needed. Applicants must possess a genuine passion for Providence College, a sincere desire to assist and interact with a wide variety of visitors, strong public speaking skills, and a high level of energy.
Please follow this link to submit your application. Complete applications should be submitted by Wednesday, April 15. Please be sure to clearly indicate your class year and current major/minor in your resume, and we will be in touch regarding an interview. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Matthew Maurano, Associate Dean of Admission (mmaurano@providence.edu), Kelly Lamoreaux, Associate Dean of Admission (klamore1@providence.edu), or Sabrina Thompson, Visit Experience Coordinator (sthomps6@providence.edu).
