Knot Note Net Artist Tour & Opening Tuesday 9/22, 5–7pm

PC Galleries is pleased to present Lu Heintz | Knot Note Net: A Syllabary, currently on view at Hunt-Cavanagh Gallery. Join us on Tuesday, September 22, from 5-7pm for the opening reception starting with an artist-led tour at 5 pm. Refreshments to follow. Knot Note Net: A Syllabary brings together recent works and interconnected projects emerging from Lu Heintz’s ongoing investigations into linguistics, textiles, labor, and material knowledge systems. Spanning sculpture, prints, drawings, installation, and video, the exhibition considers relationships among hand and machine, pattern and language, and individual gesture and shared systems.

An event announcement with a dark midnight blue background. The central image shows a close-up detail of the artist’s ink drawing on hand-drawn graph paper. Many of the squares are filled with a loopy line. Together, the lines accumulate into an organizedmass.
