Study Abroad 103 sessions are designed specifically for juniors studying abroad in Spring 2027. Join us to learn how to complete and submit your course planning form for approval and ensure your courses will transfer back to PC. Sessions will be held Tuesday, October 13, at 4:00pm in Ruane 206 and Monday, November 2, at 3:00pm in Harkins 300.

The How To Get Involved With Research Panel is next week on Thursday 10/15 from 4:30-5:30pm in Ruane 105. Hear from a student panel and faculty on the best way to find opportunities on campus and the benefits of participating in research as an undergraduate. All class years and majors welcome!

In anticipation of National First Gen Day in November, we’re seeking responses from PC students, faculty, and staff who identify as first-generation college student/graduates to feature on PCFriarlife and Providence College social media next month. It takes less than 10 minutes to submit using the link.

Applications are now open for 2027 Summer Smith Fellowships. The fellowship offers a fully funded 5–6-week international journey, immersing you with global Dominican communities, faith, and service or study, while preparing you for deep cultural engagement and transformative personal growth. From the Australia to Costa Rica and from Argentina to South Africa, Smith fellows have traveled to five continents for transformative service or study projects.

The Lighthouse Retreat, our annual Campus Ministry fall retreat for sophomores, juniors, and seniors, will take place Friday, November 6th – Sunday, November 8th, 2026 at the beautiful Retreat at Norwich Lake in Huntington, MA. We expect this retreat will sell out quickly, so register today!

We are looking for more students interested in becoming mascots! This opportunity is open to all students, and no prior mascot experience is required. We are also looking for a skating Friar for Men’s Hockey games, if any students have prior skating experience and are interested!

Come by the grotto outside St. Dominic Chapel today to say a Hail Mary and light a candle. Join us this evening at 6:00pm in the grotto to pray the rosary and join us for pizza afterwards. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!

Join Rec Sports for late-night pickleball on October 10th from 7:00pm-10:00pm in Peterson Gymnasium.

The Senior Ring Weekend Core for the Class of 2028 is working hard to make SRW memorable for our entire class. This includes class members being able to order and receive a class ring. We are pleased to offer a scholarship program in which members of the Class of 2028 can receive a free or subsidized ring from our ring company, Balfour.  This is for students who cannot afford to purchase a class ring but want to fully participate in the ring tradition and have a tangible reminder of Providence College that may be worn long after graduation.

Study abroad applications for 2027–2028 (academic year, fall, and spring) are now open and are due by Monday, November 16, at 11:59 PM. CGE has simplified the application process to help students complete their applications by mid-November, so we encourage you to get started early!
