Declaring a Finance Minor

Students looking to declare a finance minor within the School of Business, must fill out finance minor application, which can be found here: finance minor application.

Applications are reviewed twice a year, in the Fall and Spring semester, with the first review happening on Friday, October 4th. Students will be notified on their application status within two weeks of the October 4th deadline. Students who do not submit an application by October 4th will have to wait until early Spring 2025 to submit another one. Please note that you must be a declared finance minor to register for certain finance classes, as there will be restrictions to finance minors only.

Further information on the finance minor application and declaring the finance minor can be found here. Please note, that students who are accepted into the finance minor must still fill out the traditional change of major/minor form which can be found here.

Having your finance minor application approved does NOT automatically declare the minor for you, the electronic change of major/minor request form must still be completed by the student upon confirmation of application approval.
