Join BELIEVE, Student Congress, and American Studies as you test your knowledge of pop culture, history, medicine, and more — all focusing on disability and accessibility! Do you know the colors on the Disability Pride flag? Can you name the 2024 Paralympics mascot? Just how do you say “thanks” in American Sign Language (ASL) anyway?
Test your skill against other students, faculty, and staff in teams of 3 members. When the game is over, the 5 teams with the highest number of correct answers will be entered in a raffle to win $150 in prizes, courtesy of American Studies. Tie-breaker challenges will determine the top 5 competitors.
We will be serving cheeseburger sliders, Santa Fe chicken egg rolls, vegetable samosas, and loaded cheese potato skins. Please be aware that the food may contain sugar, dairy/lactose, wheat/gluten. Each dish will be labeled with potential allergens. For drinks, we will have ice citrus water and various cans of soda.
