DEADLINE APPROACHING – The Providence College Department of English invites student scholars to submit papers for The 2026 René Fortin Essay Contest. To qualify, you must be a sophomore, a junior, or a senior. Please submit one argument-based paper of seven to twenty pages written for a course in the Providence College English Department.

Since on-campus parking is limited, students must apply through the Parking Lottery for the permit option that best fits their academic plans (full year, fall only, or spring only).
