Learn About PC’s Transition to Restorative Justice-Wednesday (3/26), 5:30pm in Ryan 205

On Wednesday, March 26th, in Ryan 205, Global Studies Capstone students will hold a panel on the college’s transition to Restorative Justice practices regarding student infractions, in conjunction with the Office of Community Standards, the Personal Counseling Center, and Res Life. This transition will change the process within Community Standards, as well as how RAs interact with their students.

The Friars Consulting Group invites you to attend our speaker event on Ryan 106 at 7pm on 3/25 featuring Providence College alumnus Anthony Azar, who is the Founder and President of ACA Consulting LLC. As a retired Superintendent of schools, Azar has used his experience to provide executive coaching and mentoring as well as educational consulting.

The Humanities Forum Hosts Tom Jeannot-Friday (3/28), 3:30pm in Ruane 105

This Friday, the Humanities Forum will host Tom Jeannot, Professor of Philosophy at Gonzaga University. This talk will be the opening address of the St. Nicholas of Myra Conference on Catholic Social thought. Jeannot will investigate Dorothy Day’s seemingly paradoxical humanism and personalism by developing a fundamental contrast between two forms of humanism, naturalistic humanism and Catholic and Christian personalism.

Anna E. Lavoie Memorial Lectureship-Friday (3/21), 4pm in SCI 206

Providence College is pleased to present the Sixth Annual E. Lavoie Memorial Lectureship featuring remarks from Dr. Mary Burak ’15, a conversation scientist, and Dr. Adelaide Clark, Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Providence College.
