Friars Club Scarf Fundraiser from Nov. 12th-14th, 1-3pm

Friars Club is proud to continue a long-standing tradition of selling locally-produced scarves as great gifts for the winter. From November 12th – 14th, we will be selling these items of all different designs at Slavin Atrium from 1 – 3pm for cash only. Come check it out!

Celebration of Cabo Verdean Heritage – Friday (11/1), 4pm

This Friday, November 1st, from 4-8pm, the History & Classics Department will be sponsoring a Celebration of Cabo Verdean Heritage in the Center at Moore Hall. It will be a full schedule centering on Cabo Verdean culture, including a panel discussion about the life and legacy of Amílcar Cabral; performances by Footprints Gospel Choir; exhibits from the Cape Verdean Museum; and great Cabo Verdean food.

Join Us for the Earley Lecture Series Featuring Dr. Sarah Jane Murray-Thursday (11/7), 5:30pm

Join us for “Looking Back to Grow Forward: Flourishing in the 21st Century,” a lecture by Emmy®-nominated filmmaker and Baylor University professor Dr. Sarah Jane Murray, as part of the Earley Lecture Series. The lecture will be held in Ruane Center for the Humanities, Room 105, with a reception following in the Fiondella Great Room.

Know the Signs: Domestic Violence 101- Monday (10/28), 7-8pm

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, join Women Will and the Equity Compliance Office in Moore Hall 125 from 7-8 p.m. on Monday, October 28th for a Domestic Violence 101 session to learn the signs of domestic violence and how to support and protect your loved ones. The event will feature Insomnia Cookies and a speaker from Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center, Vanessa Rodriguez. See you there!
