Denim Day-Today (4/30), 10:30am in Slavin Atrium

Denim Day is a campaign on a Wednesday in April in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. It is about spreading awareness around sexual violence issues, supporting survivors, and educating ourselves and others. As the longest running sexual violence prevention and education campaign in history, Denim Day asks community members, elected officials, businesses, and students to make a social statement with their fashion statement by wearing jeans on this day as a visible means of protest against the misconceptions that surround sexual violence.

The Office of Equity Compliance, alongside the division of Student Affairs and Office of Human Resources are partnering to host Denim Day at Providence College on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, where students, faculty, and staff are invited participate in this campaign of solidarity and support by wearing denim.
