Would you like to be recognized for your campus involvement and continue to invest in your leadership development throughout your senior year? Consider pursuing membership into the Dirigo Leadership Honor Society! Sponsored by the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership, Dirigo is an honor society for students who have excelled as leaders throughout their college tenure. Leaders join during the fall semester of their senior year and participate in a series of leadership coaching sessions and professional development programs throughout their senior year, ultimately culminating in the creation of a leadership portfolio.
Dirigo is an active Honor Society, for students who have demonstrated their ability to lead and want to continue to develop. If you chose to pursue membership into the Dirigo Honor Society, you agree to participate in the below activities. Failure to complete any leadership coaching or development opportunities will prohibit you from being considered for induction into the Honor Society at the end of your experience.
•Participate in 2 leadership development workshops (September 13th and January 31st)
•Participate in two leadership coaching sessions (one each semester)
•Participate in at least 3 small group discussion meetings during the fall semester
•Submit a Final Dirigo Leadership Portfolio and have that portfolio endorsed by members of the Providence College community
If you are interested in pursuing membership in Dirigo, please RSVP here to the first workshop, which will take place on Sunday, September 13th from 5pm-7pm in ’64 Hall. All RSVPs are due by Wednesday, September 9th.
