Miscalculation on the Road to War-Monday (2/10), 4:30pm in Ryan 102

On February 10 at 4:30pm in Ryan 102, The Asian & Asian American Studies Program welcomes Dr. Tyler Jost of Brown University’s Political Science Department, who will discuss how the design of national security institutions affects the quality of information leaders use in the choice for conflict. Dr. Jost’s research examines why states start conflicts they ultimately lose and leaders misjudge their prospects for victory.
