Revolutionary Pessimism:  Simone Weil’s Antifascist Politics Thursday, 9/10 3:30pm

Join us for the first talk in the Providence College Women Philosophers Series! Dr. Scott Ritner of the University of Colorado Boulder will present “Revolutionary Pessimism: Simone Weil’s Antifascist Politics,” drawing from his forthcoming book of the same title. The talk will explore Weil’s critique of the State, her resistance to formal institutions, and the intellectual traditions that shaped her political thought.
