Science Communication Workshop Mon., (4/20) from 1:30-3:30pm in SCI 206

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the Writing Center are hosting two alumnae, Dr. Mary Pickering (’97) and Emily Haberlin (’10) of the UMass Chan Medical School, to describe their roles in engaging the public in scientific topics, including the creation of the Science-LIVE website. The event starts in SCI 206 for a brief presentation and Q&A, followed by some workshop activities to help develop scientific communication skills. Drinks and refreshments are provided!
