What does the Senior Week Core do? Plan 4 events during the week leading to Commencement.
What Are the Positions on the Core?
Core Co-Chair (2): direct liaison between SEAL office and Core, schedule meeting times, craft meeting agendas, preside over bi-weekly meetings work with treasurer to oversee budgeting, design and order class gift, support core in any way and every way. Monday Event Co- Chair (2): plan and execute the week’s kick-off (traditionally daytime event). Tuesday Event Co-Chair (2): plan and execute semi-formal dance on campus. Wednesday Event Co-Chair (2): plan and execute a daytime event. Thursday Event Co-Chair (2): work with Foxwoods Casino to host an event. Marketing Chair: design all marketing materials and manage Instagram page.
Co-Chairs for all events share the same responsibilities: choose theme and timing of event, research and contract, caterer, entertainment (band, DJ, etc.), and any outside vendors.
