Study Abroad Applications

The Center for Global Education reminds students in the Class of 2028 that study abroad applications are due by 11:59 pm on December 1.  Applications have been open since late September.

Walk-in hours in the Center for Global Education (Feinstein 410) are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1:00 to 3:30 if you have any remaining questions.

The most important thing to do right now is to ensure that your application is submitted on time.  The Center for Global Education can assist you with program questions even after your application is submitted.  If you’re not 100% sure in which program you’d like to participate, you can change your program of choice later on in the process.  Submitting an application does not obligate you to study abroad, but we’d still love for you to go.

The Providence/Horizons application is pretty simple to complete and shouldn’t take you very long to do.  Most of the application is electronic with two forms/documents to upload.  Recommendations are only needed for PC in Rome and DIS Study Abroad, and these are done through the application system.  Recommendations can be submitted by faculty after December 1, but the recommendations (total of 2) must be requested in the Horizons application system by December 1.

Good luck finishing your applications and Happy Thanksgiving!
