Self-Service Tech Support

While we love our Helpdesk, we also understand that sometimes it’s difficult to take time out of our busy days to make a call, send an email, or walk on down to the Library to get tech support. For those times that we’d just rather try to fix an issue ourselves or quickly install an application without needing to ask, we provide some self-service options for support.

Need an application installed?

While we do our best to install all needed applications prior to computer delivery, there are always times when something is needed that wasn’t known in advance. For that, there’s the Company Portal application in Windows and the PC Self Service app on Macs available on all college-issued computers. These apps allow you to…

  • Search for, install, and update college-approved applications that have been made available by the IT Department.
    • To install, just select the application’s entry and click “Install.” You can continue working on your computer while the installation takes place. You’ll be notified when it has completed.
  • Access bookmarks for college websites, such as the Team Dynamix IT service portal, iHelp, and the MyPC Portal.
    • If you run into issues, you can use the Team Dynamix IT service portal to submit a ticket to the Helpdesk.
  • The Company Portal app on Windows also allows you to reset your password.

Looking for solution, documentation, or service information?

We have created a library of documentation and service information available via two websites.

The Team Dynamix knowledgebase is an ever-growing collection of “how tos,” step-by-step guides, and general information and documentation for technology services.

The iHelp website contains our software list and documentation for services offered by IT.

Still need help?

That’s ok! The Helpdesk is available to provide technical support or escalate your issue within the IT Department. Here’s how to get support:
