Having an email address comes with the need to be vigilant about email scams. The scams come in all forms. One of the more common scams is a fake job advertisement, offering a weekly or monthly pay rate in exchange for easy work. Often, these scams state that the job is a student worker position for a member of the college faculty or staff.
Student jobs are not advertised individually. All available student jobs on campus can be found in Handshake. All professional positions at the college are posted in the Human Resources careers portal. Any other sites offering jobs at the college are generally malicious and should be avoided.
If you ever see a job that you’re unsure of, you can contact Financial Aid for questions about student positions or Human Resources for questions about professional positions.
