Have you noticed after an update to macOS that the letters and numbers are appearing as boxes with question marks inside as seen in the screenshot below?
This is a compatibility issue between the macOS system fonts and fonts installed by various college-issued software. Don’t fret! There’s a simple fix for this problem, sometimes resolved just by restarting your computer (don’t forget to save your work!).
