Tech Tip: Fix Mac Fonts

Have you noticed after an update to macOS that the letters and numbers are appearing as boxes with question marks inside as seen in the screenshot below?

This is a compatibility issue between the macOS system fonts and fonts installed by various college-issued software. Don’t fret! There’s a simple fix for this problem, sometimes resolved just by restarting your computer (don’t forget to save your work!). If that does not fix the problem, use the instructions at the following link:
